Dryer not heating, NO PARTS available?
Do NOT purchase any SAMSUNG apploance except maybe dishwadher
excellent!!
Thanks Patriot Marine, I checked all the elements and sensors as per your instructions for my no heat dryer. Also cleaned out the lint screen, found $20 and change in there! Sensors and elements were good, put it all back together and the dryer works and I have a very happy wife now.
Great video! Quick question: what would happen if I change the rods but the new ones are slighltly shorter than the original ones?
I would ASSuMe that it would bring the bucket up that distance, springs being the same tension.
@@PatriotMarine Thanks buddy! What do you think? Should I get the ones with the original size?
@@McTzt O always do when available.
@@PatriotMarine Thanks man! :)
Unfortunately, I did everything you suggested but mine still not moving. I pretty much rebuild it from inside out. everything new. And it's just stuck in the water looking right at me. Suction levels are fine but is just not moving at all. Any other suggestions before I fish it out and put it in the trash?
if you've replaced what's not allowing it to move AND there's proper suction, it must move. This one is probably 15 years old and I've replaced worn parts a few times saving buying a new one which are ridiculously priced as all other pool parts.
@@PatriotMarine Correct. But I already took it apart and put it back together about 10 times. Everything has been restored correctly as suggested. That's what I don't understand. Maybe it's time to get something else. I even took it to someone else pool and tried there. But nothing happens. Just not moving. Period.
Great video!!!!! I have 24v from the transformer to the board the fuse is good but the voltage output from fuse is only 12v. The board needs 24v correct?
Mine was the same
Thanks buddy! Was twisting mine using the old lefty loosey righty tightey! 😅
Worked for me today!
@PatriotMarine the suspension rod is unavailable is there another one I can get?
What i want to know is once you take the motor out of the case which parts to spray lube and which parts to grease up
My timex has been with me across the world. From the sandy beaches in the Carribean to Venice. Wonderful watch and glad to see I could repair it
Why did it over heat to begin with ? Mine has needed to be tapped on floor 2 times now ... I cleaned out all the lint
I don’t know if you’ll read this comment, but you definitely helped me! This problem just popped up in my 2005 Sebring and it’s definitely gonna save me the time and money of going to a dealership! So thank you very much!
Yes, always glad to save others some money.
I wish you would have shown how you knew it was transformer a d not the fuse.
the fuse was visibly good, and I checked for continuity also.
I have the opposite problem: too much heat that keeps blowing the thermal fuse.
Great video and very helpful Many thanks for sharing your knowledge 👍👍
Excellent !
Thank you for so much for! I’m going to order the parts off of Amazon ASAP and try to do it myself. I’m supposed to have a repair guy come out here Friday and try to fix it but that’s more money I have to pay so this way will save me money thanks a lot for Sharing thanks again🎉
Before buying a heating element…what would be the signs? If the thermostat and thermal cuff off were fine then is it fair to assume it’s the heating element that needs replacing? And the belt…would it be the cause for the dryer to not start? When I turn it manually..it turns so does that mean the belt is fine?
I may not be understanding your question. If you watch the video I go through what steps to take to find out if it's 'fuses' or heating element in this video.
Hi, i really need some help. I have a Kenmore 90 series dryer. It suddenly would not start. I checked the circuit breaker and it’s fine. I assumed it was the door switch bc it was not clicking and light would not come when I opened the door. I replaced it. The dryer still would not start. I tested the thermal fuse with multimeter and it was unclear bc sometimes it beeped and sometimes it did not so I replaced it. And still the dryer would not start. I tested the start button with multimeter and it beeps. The most common and obvious are working. I am considering the electrical/terminal port but isn’t it fair to assume it is fine bc the light in the dryer comes in when I open the door? Please help. What else could it be?
if the 4 'fuses' are good, then I would start at last one seeing if there's 'power' to it (trying to see where the 'power' ends.
Thank you for taking the time to put this up I would.of never have guessed that was how you did it
Done now and used the opportunity to give the machine a good clean. Tested and working again.
WD 40 sprayed on, a few light taps, screwdriver on base. Came off using mole grips.😊
THANK YOU! Sears Parts Direct DIY Help took me down a rabbit hole of removing the rear access panel. No such thing on this dryer, but when attempted drops the drum mounting, so now you get to remove the top to fix that error.
Yeah I saw Kemore makes a dryer with the element in the back
I fucking love you. Ordering parts now
*(did you read "worked briefly") STRANGELY. the next video fixed it by replacing all four rods. October 8, 2019
When the top base gear of my blender broke off I was so disappointed. I was ready to throw it away. I decided to lookup a replacement part and amazon had it for a little over $6. When I got it, once again was I disappointed because I thought that I had purchased the wrong part. It wasn’t until today I decided to find a video on UA-cam that would show me how to fix it. And YES!!! There was your video. Just like one two, three and my blender was fixed. I needed my husband’s help but we got it done in seconds. Thank you sooooo very much very sharing this video.
I have nutripro and the base is not coming off
Same here. I had to grip the turning gears underneath the fan to finally get it to move. I have no idea if I damaged it, so I threw it away and bought a new one for $60
@@KevinThurman I bought a heathKick blender for 71£ and love it.
I just got done taking my dryer apart to get this piece out of It and unfortunately It did not work After slamming It firmly on a solid surface but I've already looked Up on Amazon for the correct part number and it should be here this Saturday, I sure hope this fixes my dryer because I am not spending over $200 just for Ace appliances to come screw me over just for one little part. Also I bought a cheap $6.99 harbor freight voltage meter to make sure each part was operating correctly just like you did in the video, Thank you so much for that tip
I missed the part where you got the plastic gear out of the inside.
I love this video.❤
👍
So mine didnt have them springs u think mine needs them
Excellent job my man. You re a good teacher. Great detail. I've now watched every dryer repair vid you have. U know you've really got your monies worth out of this damn Kenmore. You've earned a new fan. One more thing. You need a headband GOPro. Im sure you've helped enough people to earn a little love in the form of payment. Do u have a system set up we can pay or donate into? I'm gonna go work on my dryer. If I fix it because of something I've learned from watching you. I'd gladly send you $10 bucks. You put out enough work on utube. I'm sure ur helping folks. Set urself up with a way we can show our appreciation. Because I'd like to see you use both hands instead of one handing it due to camera issues. New friend and subscriber, Jeff
Below the video you should see ($ Thanks) "Show Support with Super Thanks" Much appreciated in advance.
Ha! You upgraded your multi meter. Good for u
Great job man. My dryer quit heating up. I'll watch all ur dryer vids. You earned a new subscriber. Muchas gracias
What is the length of these rods?
It's been 4 years and I din't measure them at the time.
Ok thanks
This is what is called a mechanic, master technician , wizard any of those
Great video very informative but no one has yet shown me how to get my heating element out I find no screws to take it apart
What is that part called?
Exactly what I needed! Thank you!
Don’t talk too much just say where it s located
Super helpful patriot!
Can someone help with link to get part if it’s not worked?
What model number or series number is the unit you just repaired? And part number for the heating element if you will please,, and thank you.
what is the part # for the springs since the factory did not install on my Admiral ATW4676BQ1
Thank you so much for the help
It worked and got me going until my new one came in.
Still banging😢
this 'STRANGELY' fixed it for a few washes, then stared again. Watch video 2 where I replaced the 4 rods. *(look at date of video... still working great as of today)
@@PatriotMarine i’m going to go get the rods and try that
Thank you so much for this excellent video. Nutripro working perfectly again 😅
